YELLOWSTONE RIVER
Longest Undammed RIver inthe lower 48
The Yellowstone River winds its way through Yellowstone National Park, including sections with crashing waterfalls and areas of calm, lazy flow. As the only undammed river in the lower 48 states, it courses 692 miles through Wyoming, Montana and North Dakota. We tend to put clients on the strech between Yankee Jim Canyon and Springdale but there is adventure to be had in other stretches of this great resource. Just ask!
MADISON RIVER
The Madison River is a headwater tributary of the Missouri River,
The Madison has two main stretches the upper Madison from Quake Lake down stream to Ennis lake and the lower from Beartrap Canyon to the confluence with the Madison, Jefferson and Gallatin Rivers to form the Missouri River.
GALLATIN RIVER
The Gallatin River is a tributary of the Missouri River
Since the majority of the Gallatin River is closed to float fishing (but not recreational floating), the Gallatin is a perfect scenario for those anglers who are frustrated by having to share the water with lines of rafts and drift boats. Coupled with the easy access found in the upper half, the Gallatin ranks as one of the finest wade fishing rivers in Montana, perhaps second only to Rock Creek.
